Trolling Nolan's Tackle is proud to say that we are now carrying the Prune Picker Slabs made famous on Lake Texoma by Ron Ludwig. Many of us know about Ron (Prune Picker) with his efforts in starting the Six Old Geezer website http://www.sixoldgeezers.com/ what it is today. The Six Old Geezers website is a website that has a forum with what is happening at Lake Texoma one of the premiere striper fishing lakes in the United States. Many guides and anglers gather on the forum to share what's happening on the lake with up to date reports. The group (Geezer Guys) have also been known to work together to raise money in efforts to help keep the lake and the resources for the betterment for all and our future sportsman generations.
I want to thank Ron for all of his efforts with the Six Old Geezers, and for helping me get started with my hobby of making slab baits. It goes without saying that his help several years ago helped shape my baits for what they are today.
The baits are casting spoons made of only the finest components. They will come in one size (2oz) and at this time in one color chartreuse on one side chartreuse on the other. They have proven to be very effective for the stripers at Lake Texoma, and I have found the baits to also be very effective on other lakes in targeting sand bass and hybrids.
